This is the story of doctor a<\/span><b> renowned gynaecologist<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from <\/span><b>Hyderabad, who lost \u20b914,206 in a matter of minutes to a cyber fraud.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> But where banks stalled and fraudsters vanished, CoverPrime stepped in and stood firm until every rupee was returned.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Case Background:<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On March 21st, 2025, the doctor received a call from an unknown number. The caller claimed that a <\/span><b>health insurance policy worth \u20b94,999<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> had been activated on her credit card. While she was still trying to make sense of it, <\/span><b>two transaction alerts popped up on her phone, both from Amazon. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One for \u20b9349 and the other for \u20b913,857.21.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Together, they amounted to a loss of \u20b914,206. She moved quickly, blocking her card immediately.<\/span><b> But the money was gone<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Incident Report:<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Date of Incident:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The Unfortunate Incident happened on March 21, 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Fraudulent Transactions:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> First transaction \u20b9349 (Amazon). The second transition was \u20b9 13,857.21 this time again (Amazon)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Immediate Action Taken:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Doctor blocked the Card within minutes and then same day, filed the Cybercrime complaint<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After all the she called the official helpline to confirm no policy had been activated and also notified<\/span><b> CoverPrime via email.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> After all this, what she noticed c<\/span><b>yber Criminals again tried two more transaction attempt<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">s, but the card was already blocked successfully.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Support from CoverPrime:<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coverprime.in\/\"><b>CoverPrime\u2019s<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> legal team took charge the very same day.
