NABL<\/b><\/a> stands for <\/span>National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories<\/b>, and <\/span>NABH<\/b><\/a> is an acronym for <\/span>National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers<\/b>. The <\/span>NABL<\/b> provides accreditation to Laboratories in India. It has <\/span>MRA<\/b> (Mutual Recognition Arrangement) with <\/span>ILAC<\/b> (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation), and <\/span>APAC<\/b> (Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation). This is an integral board of the Quality Council of India. It is an independent setup under the <\/span>DPIIT<\/b> (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade), the Government of India, and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry & was formed in 1988. Department of Science and Technology, India is the founder of the <\/span>NABL<\/b>. Its purpose is to provide accreditation services in India, and its headquarters are in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>NABH<\/b> is a component board of the <\/span>QCI<\/b> (Quality Council of India). It is set up to operate and establish accreditation programs for <\/span>Healthcare Organizations<\/b>.     The <\/span>NABL<\/b> is a complete member of APAC MRA (Mutual Recognition Arrangements) as well as <\/span>ILAC<\/b>, based on mutual acceptance and evaluation of other <\/span>MRA<\/b> Partner Laboratory Accreditation Systems. This accreditation is acknowledged by many Government regulators, and bodies.<\/span><\/p>\n
